Crash is first involving a Boeing 787

Aviation consultant Andrew Charlton said it appeared from footage of the crash that the plane was “struggling to get lift” as it took off.
Videos from the scene showed the plane slowly descending soon after take off, before crashing.
“There is no evidence of a major explosion during the short flight but it is much too early to say why it crashed. We will need to find out from the black box data,” Charlton said.
Flight tracking data showed the plane reached a maximum altitude of 625 feet, according to Flightradar24. The airport’s altitude is about 200 feet.
The aircraft then descended at a vertical speed of about 475 feet per minute.
