The Trump Organization has announced plans to launch a mobile phone service, in the latest effort by the family business to capitalise on Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
The company, which is managed by Trump’s sons, said on Monday it will begin selling a gold smartphone for $499 in August.
The flagship plan of the “Trump Mobile” operator will offer 5G service through all three major cellular carriers.
“Trump Mobile is going to change the game, we’re building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service,” said Donald Trump Jr, executive vice-president of the Trump Organization.
The plan, which marks an expansion of the Trump’s family’s business ventures, will offer telehealth services and free international calling to more than 100 countries.
